Human chain demands high speed internet in Comilla University
The resident students formed a human chain to demand the installation of standard Wi-Fi connection in the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of Comilla University and to replace the low quality router in the old part of the hall with a high speed router. This human chain stood in front of the administrative building of the university at 9 am on Tuesday (July 19). The protesting students presented a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor at the end of the human chain.
In addition to quality high-speed internet, subsidies food, installation of Bangabandhu's portrait in front of the hall, appointment of cleaners are also demanded.
Khairul Bashar Shakib, Acting General Secretary of Bangabandhu Hall Branch Chhatra League, announced a strict agenda if the problem is not resolved within seven days of the human chain.
In this regard, the provost Dr. Md. Moqaddes-ul-Islam-Islam said that he had already informed the administration about these problems in the hall. He said, I have tried my best, but if the administration does not take any action, I have nothing to do. If the authorities write to me then I will again ask to resolve these issues.
